An Email "alias" is one of many possible Email addresses that may be assigned to a single Email POP3 account. You have the option of aliasing to the webmaster@yourdomain.com Email POP as many additional email addresses as you like. Say, for example, that the webmaster@yourdomain.com POP3 becomes the address of record (as well as an alias) and the additional addresses assigned to it become aliases. Commonly assigned aliases to the webmaster@yourdomain.com POP3 include info@, sales@, billing@, support@, and yourname@yourdomain.com among others. With one POP3 you would be able to use as many email addresses as you like without having to purchase additional Email POP3's. You should be aware, however, that it would not be practical to assign these aliases to more than one user for each POP3. This is because there is only one Email log-on user ID per POP3 and if one user of the POP3 were to download the Email of the POP3 they would be downloading all the Email there, even those that were intended for other users. A single user may have multiple POP3's, but it is recommended that a single POP3 only have one user.
